We are searching for a highly motivated QA/QC Associate (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) based in our head office and manufacturing plant located in Burnaby, B.C:
Duties, but not limited:
- Follow written procedures for approval of raw materials, sampling and inspection of in-process, finished products and packaging materials.
- Reviewing QA/QC production logs for accuracy and completion.
- Filing and maintaining batch production and control records for products.
- Performing customer complaint investigations.
- Monitoring CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.
- Supporting the QA/QC Supervisor with development, maintenance and updates of company policies and procedures in support of GMP practices.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Korean.
- Degree in a food science, nutrition, or any relevant scientific discipline would be an asset.
- 1-2 years related experience at a Natural Health Product (NHP) or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Health Canada’s Good Manufacturing practices for pharmaceuticals and natural health products would be an asset.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and packaging of solid, capsule, and powder dosage forms would be an asset.
- Able to plan, organize and manage workload for self and others to meet deadlines and deliver to schedule and targets.
- Excellent organization, communication, critical analysis, decision making and observational skills.
Work Condition:
- Location: South Burnaby (near Marine Way & Byrne Rd.)
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM ~ 5 PM
